This tea is made using the dried leaves and flowers of Sideritis plants.
The reason mountain tea has this name is that it was vastly found on mountain ranges at over 3200 feet. This tea has a sweet, floral and earthy flavor and is caffeine-free. It is also known to be a mild pain killer and anti-inflammatory and since Ancient Greek times it has been used as a remedy for colds, aches, allergies, respiratory issues and boosting of the immune system.
