Yerba maté is one of South America's traditional herbs. Five centuries ago, the Guarani Indians taught the Spanish explorers how to survive in the harsh jungle, including how to make an infusion from the leaves of the sacred Caa bush.
Ingredients: Organic yerba maté leaf.
Preparation: Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Pour over a bag of Flora Yerba Mate and steep 3-4 minutes to desired strength. Squeeze bag gently and remove. Hot or iced, this is a sublime thirst-quencher.
